Leclanché Announces Filing of Request to Extend the Publication Deadline for its 2025 Annual Report

Mon Aug 3

YVERDON-LES-BAINS, Switzerland, 3rd of August, 2026 – Leclanché SA (SIX: LECN)  (“Leclanché” or the “Company“), one of the world’s leading energy storage companies, announces that it was not in a position to publish its 2025 Annual Report by 31 July 2026.

The Company has filed a request with SIX Exchange Regulation AG (“SER”) for an extension of the publication deadline. At the time of publication of this announcement, the Company’s request is still under review and no decision has yet been received from SER.

The request to SER was required because by 31 July 2026 Leclanché was not yet able to demonstrate its ability to operate as a going concern through at least June 2027. The discussions with a new strategic partner regarding a collaboration that provides additional funding and supports the Company’s ongoing efforts to reinforce its going concern assessment through June 2027 are taking longer than expected. However, Leclanché continues to work towards demonstrating its ability to operate as a going concern through at least June 2027 to be able to publish its 2025 Annual Report soon.

The Company will inform the market without delay once SER has issued its decision and/or if the Company is able to demonstrate its ability to operate as a going concern through at least June 2027.
